The new state-of-the-art hospital which is located at Pebble Mill, Edgbaston, is Circle Health Care’s most recent addition to their suite of hospitals located in Nottingham, Redding and Bath.

The hospital has 3 operating theatres, with the capacity to expand to 6 theatres. The hospital also includes MRI, CT, x-ray and ultrasound.

Robell Control Systems were appointed by Imtech Engineering Services Central to design, supply and install the Building Management System (BMS).

The BMS system comprises of 10 control panels, which control/monitor the heating plant (boilers & CHP), chilled water plant, hot water storage, dedicated operating theatre ventilation, ancillary area ventilation, cold water storage, metering and lighting.

The BMS is linked to a front end supervisor located in the facilities manager’s office, which provides a graphical engineering toolset for all plant controlled by the BMS, as well as other functions such as alarm handling, time scheduling and data logging.
