Abbey Fields Swimming Pool required a specialist Building Management System to maintain comfortable environmental conditions, stable pool water temperatures and efficient building operation. Robell Control Systems designed, supplied and installed a fully integrated BMS providing intelligent control across critical mechanical plant and leisure facilities.
The challenge
Swimming pool environments demand precise environmental control to maintain occupant comfort, protect the building fabric and ensure consistent pool water temperatures. Integrating multiple heating and ventilation systems into a single Building Management System required reliable coordination and continuous monitoring.
Our approach
Robell Control Systems delivered a fully integrated Building Management System comprising a central control panel and two remote outstation panels. The installation provides intelligent control of the heating plant, ventilation systems, pool water temperature, dedicated changing village air handling unit and three underfloor heating zones. All systems communicate with a graphical BMS supervisor, allowing facilities staff to monitor plant performance, adjust operating parameters and respond quickly to alarms.
