Barton Firtop is a modern industrial manufacturing facility requiring sophisticated Building Management System controls across production, warehouse and office environments. Robell Control Systems delivered intelligent controls for both the primary facility and a new warehouse extension, providing efficient heating, cooling and ventilation management throughout the site.
The challenge
Delivering reliable control across both the main manufacturing facility and warehouse extension required the coordination of multiple air source heat pumps, secondary heating and cooling circuits, warehouse ventilation systems and office heating, while integrating communications with the client's existing network and monitoring site-wide energy consumption.
Our approach
Robell implemented an integrated Building Management System providing centralised monitoring and control of air source heat pumps, secondary pump sets, warehouse supply and extract ventilation, office heating and client energy metering. The system enables efficient plant sequencing, reliable communications and optimised building performance across both phases of the facility.
The outcome
The completed Building Management System delivers efficient control of heating, cooling and ventilation throughout the Barton Firtop facility while providing centralised monitoring, energy metering integration and reliable operation across both the main warehouse and extension, supporting efficient day-to-day operation and future scalability.
