Confidential Pharmaceutical Expansion
A confidential pharmaceutical manufacturing facility undergoing major expansion required a new Building Management System to support additional office accommodation and production areas. Robell Control Systems designed, supplied and installed an integrated BMS solution, connecting both extensions into the existing site-wide infrastructure whilst delivering reliable environmental control and energy monitoring.
The challenge
Delivering a fully integrated Building Management System across two new pharmaceutical building extensions whilst maintaining compatibility with the client's existing site-wide BMS. The project required coordination of multiple HVAC systems, energy metering and environmental controls to provide reliable operation across both office accommodation and manufacturing facilities.
Our approach
Robell Control Systems designed and delivered six Building Management System control panels providing centralised monitoring and control of five air source heat pumps, seventeen air handling units, forty-three fan coil units and integrated energy metering. All plant was connected back to the existing site-wide Building Management System, providing a seamless extension of the client's existing infrastructure.
The outcome
Robell Control Systems successfully delivered an integrated Building Management System supporting the expansion of a confidential pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The completed installation provides reliable environmental control, centralised monitoring and seamless integration with the existing site-wide BMS, supporting both office accommodation and manufacturing operations while improving operational efficiency and future scalability.
