Circle Health Birmingham is a modern private hospital at Pebble Mill, Edgbaston, designed to provide advanced healthcare services within a highly controlled clinical environment. Robell Control Systems designed, supplied and installed a fully integrated Building Management System delivering reliable control across critical HVAC plant, operating theatres, diagnostics and energy systems.
The challenge
Delivering a Building Management System within a live healthcare environment demanded reliable environmental control across critical hospital infrastructure. Operating theatres, diagnostic facilities and specialist plant required coordinated control strategies whilst ensuring resilience, energy efficiency and simplified facilities management.
Our approach
Robell Control Systems designed and delivered ten bespoke Building Management System control panels providing centralised monitoring and control of the hospital's heating plant, CHP, chilled water systems, domestic hot water storage, operating theatre ventilation, ancillary ventilation, cold water storage, lighting and energy metering. All plant was integrated into a graphical supervisor allowing facilities teams to monitor performance, schedule plant operation, respond to alarms and analyse system trends from a single interface.
The outcome
Robell Control Systems successfully delivered a fully integrated Building Management System supporting one of Circle Health's flagship hospitals. The completed installation provides dependable environmental control, efficient energy management and comprehensive monitoring across critical healthcare infrastructure, giving facilities teams complete visibility and long-term operational confidence.
